Privacy policy.

AudioShelf is a static affiliate website. We use outbound links to Amazon and may use privacy-conscious analytics tools such as Cloudflare Web Analytics, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity when configured by the site owner.

AudioShelf does not offer user accounts, store payment information, or process purchases directly. Product research can be viewed without creating a profile. When optional analytics are enabled, they are used to understand broad site behavior such as page visits, navigation paths, and outbound-link activity so the site can improve its guides and fix broken experiences.

Affiliate links

Amazon links may include the affiliate tag audiobooksstore00-20. Amazon may process data according to its own policies when you click through.

Clicking an affiliate link leaves AudioShelf and opens a third-party retailer. That retailer controls its own cookies, account information, checkout, delivery, and privacy practices. AudioShelf does not receive your Amazon password, order contents, payment details, or shipping address. We may receive aggregated commission reporting through the affiliate program.

Analytics

The site is built with optional analytics hooks for page views, carousel interactions, newsletter intent, and outbound affiliate clicks. Analytics IDs are not hardcoded; they are configured through deployment environment variables when enabled.

Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and cookie settings may limit optional measurement. The site should remain usable when those tools are active. We do not sell personal information collected through AudioShelf, and we do not use the site to build sensitive personal profiles.

Contact and newsletter intent

If you choose to contact AudioShelf or request updates, the information you provide is used to respond or send the requested content. A dedicated email/newsletter provider should be connected before collecting subscribers at scale.

Contact information should be retained only as long as needed to answer the request, maintain a requested subscription, or meet a legitimate operational obligation. If a newsletter service is added, its provider and unsubscribe controls should be identified at the point of signup. This policy will be updated when the site's data practices materially change.
